  1. Expansion tank is missing<\/strong>: An expansion tank is not installed at the water heater. Most water heater manufacturers recommend an expansion tank be installed whenever the water system is a “closed” system. Next step: Further evaluation by licensed plumbing contractor to determine what repairs are needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Attic access is not insulated<\/strong>: Missing <\/a>insulation<\/a> noted at one or more attic access panels at the time of the inspection. This condition will lead to heat\/cooling loss and wasted energy. Next step: Further evaluation by a handyman to determine what repairs are needed. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Sediment trap is missing<\/strong>: One or more furnace gas piping is not equipped with a sediment trap. Next step: Installation by a licensed HVAC contractor or licensed plumbing contractor to comply with today’s HVAC safety standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
