Drains are commonly checked by home inspectors and almost always flagged in your home inspection process. Plumbing in general can be an intimidating area to tackle for a lot of homeowners. Common issues like leaks or corrosion, are relatively easy to deal with and less expensive to repair. However, a clog left uncorrected can lead to a clogged drain deep in pipe that results in costly repairs from a drain service company or plumber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Also, a small leak in your drain can slowly damage and rot out the floor of the cabinet if not addressed immediately. Cabinets<\/a> should be looked at as a piece of furniture bolted to your wall. By pulling the drain apart, cleaning it out, and re-assembling the drain, we were able to make a Qwik repair. It takes us about 30 minutes to complete the task. In some cases, the cause of slow drainage is located further down the drain line in a place that cannot be taken apart and cleaned. In those cases, a snake is needed to reach further down the drain. Helping to push through debris or pull back a clog and removing it completely.
